Intégrale expanding bung — Tonnellerie Baron
Tonnellerie Baron Intégrale expanding bung in Evoprene, with an ergonomic handle and stainless steel fastening for secure barrel closure and rotational bâtonnage.
Code: Bonde Expansible Intégrale
Category: Barrel accessories and handling
The Intégrale expanding bung was developed and patented by Tonnellerie Baron for secure barrel closure. The flexible element provides a seal suited to rotational bâtonnage and filling Vinification Intégrale barrels.
Construction
- Flexible Evoprene element, a neutral material suitable for contact with wine.
- Ergonomic handle and stainless steel screw assembly.
- Durable polyamide washer and customisable handle.
Use
Compatible with barrel rotation on suitable racks. During fermentation, follow the Vinification Intégrale procedure for opening the bung to release CO₂ and reduce internal pressure; the closure does not replace this operation.
